The Myth of America’s Freedom of Speech

Having somehow managed to accumulate enough weight to influence international socio-political, economic and cultural trends, the United States and its western allies have literally imposed their so-called “western standards” as the yardsticks of measuring not only the quality of technological products but also the civility and sophistication of people’s cultures and religious beliefs.

This enormous influence has obviously made them regard themselves as the leaders of the world and also the guardians of modern civilization. The United State in particular parades itself as the ultimate leader, whose standards, which it always refers to as world standards, shall -according to it- effectively define the bases of measuring what is civilized and what isn’t in all aspects of life, which also explains its apparent sense of arrogance and megalomania.

Ironically however and despite the discrepancies of many of such standards in principle, the US and its western allies tend to comply with them only when it suits them and ignore them when it doesn’t, in a brazen show of hypocritical inconsistency, which they however refer to as pragmatism.

Such inconsistency appears quite obvious in their already discrepancy-ridden “freedom of speech laws” under the pretext of which they justify and indeed encourage insults on the cultural values and religious sanctities and beliefs of many people around the world.

For instance, ever since his attempt to exercise his freedom of speech in exposing the largely American dirty deals around the world, Julian Assange; founder of the WikiLeaks has been subjected to systematic witch-hunt masterminded by US government in collaboration with some of its western allies e.g. Britain.

Moreover, the myth of America’s freedom of speech appears particularly obvious when Jewish vested interests are involved. Incidentally, many observers around the world can’t make sense of how America’s pride often succumbs to and indeed prostrates before the overwhelming Jewish Zionist influence, which pervades its entire social and systemic fabrics.

The US and its western allies do not only circumvent their own laws in order to give preferential treatment to the Zionist agenda, in addition to that, they have actually formulated substantive laws aimed at serving this purpose and literally entrenching the culture of western countries’ subservience and by implication the whole world, to the Zionist agenda.

For instance, while it is allowed in these countries to ridicule Jesus Christ for instance and in fact go to any extent even against God the Almighty under the pretext of freedom of speech, any unfavourable assertion against Zionist agenda e.g. denial of the Holocaust is considered Anti-Semitism i.e. anti Jewish; which is a crime hence attracts appropriate punishments.

By the way, in the wake of the World ll, the Zionists exaggerated their plight by claiming -among other things- that six million Jews were systematically massacred by the Nazis, in a bid to attract as much sympathy as possible. And though, many historians and analysts have questioned the authenticity of this claim, Zionist apologists in the media and academia insisted on such exaggerated figures, while their lobbyist counterparts in the corridors of power managed to make it a punishable offence to deny such Zionist exaggerated account.

Interestingly, the U.S. State Department gives some instances of Anti-Semitism, which according to the American critic Christian cleric Rev. Ted Pike include “virulent criticism” of Israel’s leaders, past or present”, “criticism of the Jewish religion or its religious leaders or literature (especially the Talmud and Kabbalah)” “alleging that MOSSAD was behind the 9/11” etc.  Furthermore, according to Rev. Ted Pike the U.S. State Department also regards making a mockery cartoon to criticize a past or present Zionist leader as anti-Semitism.

Moreover, the US went ahead in 2004 to make Anti-Semitism law global, and it set up a special unit in the State Department to monitor compliance with the law around the world and report to the Congress.

This is the reason why any damned nonentity desperate for cheap popularity simply opens his filthy mouth or uses his pen to unleash his hatred against Islam and the apostle of Allah; Mohammad peace and blessing of Allah be upon him. This is even though whoever makes such an attempt already realizes its futility in the first place, because it has never and can never affect Muslims’ enormous love for the apostle of Allah.

Instead any attempt of such nature has always turned out to be counterproductive as far as its masterminds are concerned, because it ironically inspires Muslims to love the apostle of Allah even more, just as it has never discouraged prospective Muslims from embracing the religion of Islam, which by the way remains the fasted growing religion of earth in spite of all odds.

Unfortunately however, the masterminds of such futile attempts have always apparently capitalized on the weakness and the obvious helplessness of the Muslim Ummah as represented by its political leaders, whose reactions have never been serious enough compared with the magnitude of the crime.

After all, some deviant ideologues amongst some heretic sects who claim to belong to Islam already justify and indeed always make some ugly paintings, which according to their awful tastes and blasphemous attitudes depict the apostle of Allah and some members of his noble household e.g. Ali, Hassan and Hussein.

As a matter of fact, barely days after the eruption of the protests across the world against the latest video claiming to depict the apostle of Allah by such damned American man, the Iranian news agency (FNA) announced that, final touches had been done on a movie produced in Iran by an Iranian producer Majeed Majeedy on the apostle of Allah, in which a film character bears the name and acts as the apostle of Allah; Mohammad, peace and blessing of Allah be upon him.  And the movie is expected to be released next December.

Actually it is such hypocritical attitudes by such so-called Muslims coupled with the Muslims’ apathy that encourage such people to deliberately provoke them every now and then. And though, this does not justify the chaotic reactions by many Muslims in such situations, it underscores the imperative of concerted moves by the international community to criminalize any act of insult against the religions, cultures and sanctities of people.

Without such measures, it is very difficult to prevent the recurrence of violent reactions on the streets around the world, because the provoked emotions in such situations are too daring to be easily prevented by security measures.
